You'll receive a unique QR code to share with your guests - place it on reception tables, include it in your invitations, or display it at your venue. Guests simply scan the code with their phone, enter their name, and upload photos directly. No app downloads or accounts needed.

No. Only you (the couple) can view and download the photos. Guests can upload but cannot see what others have shared. This keeps everything private until you're ready to share.

Both plans include unlimited uploads and our smart quality filter. Premium adds facial recognition (so you can find all photos of specific people), organised folder downloads, and extends your storage from 3 months to a full year.

Yes of course! Your album works beautifully for weddings that span multiple days. Gather & Group album can collect photos throughout.

In fact, there's no time limit on when guests can upload, so photos from the Friday night drinks can sit alongside Saturday's ceremony and Sunday's farewell breakfast, all in one place.

Your QR code stays the same the entire time, so you only need one sign, one set of table cards, or one link to share. Guests can keep adding photos whenever the moment takes them.

Guests can still upload for the duration of your plan. Want to turn off the upload form? No problem, you have the ability to turn off uploads whenever you're ready through your dashboard.

We know weddings come with enough costs to keep track of. The last thing you need is another monthly subscription to remember (and eventually forget to cancel).

With Gather & Group, you pay once for your wedding and that's it. No surprise renewals, no ongoing fees, no awkward emails six months later asking why you're still being charged.

You can extend your storage time, or buy photo books from us, but these are totally optional.

• Wi-Fi matters more than location. As long as your venue has Wi-Fi or your guests have mobile data, uploads will work. If the connection is slow, our system will automatically retry any failed uploads.
• The live slideshow works the same way. Just make sure the display device at your venue has a stable internet connection.
• Photobook delivery is international. We ship printed photobooks to many countries. Shipping options and pricing are shown at checkout based on your delivery address.
• Your plan and pricing stay the same. Our plans are priced in GBP but we also display prices in USD and EUR. There's no extra charge for using the service abroad.

Gather & Group is available worldwide! Your guests can upload photos from anywhere with an internet connection, and you can manage your gallery from any device, wherever you are.

We accept payments in GBP, USD and EUR. If you're happy to pay in one of those currencies, you're welcome to sign up regardless of where you're based.

Printed photobooks can be delivered to the UK, the United States, and selected European countries. Delivery options and pricing are shown at checkout based on your chosen delivery address. If your country isn't available for photobook delivery, you can still use every other feature of the service - gallery sharing, the live slideshow, facial recognition, downloads, and more.

Don't worry - your guests' phones will save their photos as normal. They can upload them later when they're connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data, whether that's later in the evening, on the way home, or even the next day.

There's no time limit for uploading, so no photos will be lost. Many couples find that guests continue uploading photos for days after the wedding.

If you collect your guests' email addresses through the Guest Invites page, we'll automatically send them friendly reminders to upload their photos after your wedding. It's a great way to make sure no photos get forgotten on camera rolls.

No! Simply create an account and verify your email address to start your free trial immediately. We won't ask for any payment details until you're ready to choose a plan.

When your 5-day trial ends, you'll need to choose a plan to continue.

Don't worry - your test photos will remain in your gallery (if you want to keep them). Once you upgrade, you and your guests can start uploading without any limits.

You can sign up anytime before your wedding. We recommend creating your gallery a few weeks in advance so you have time to customise your QR code and decide where to display it. Your storage period only starts from your wedding date, not when you sign up.

Yes, you can update your wedding date from your dashboard before your original date passes. This will automatically adjust your storage expiry date accordingly.

No. Guests simply scan your QR code, enter their name, and start uploading. No app downloads, no account creation, no passwords - it takes just seconds to get started.

Our system automatically retries failed uploads. If there's a connection issue, guests can simply try again - the system will detect any duplicates and only keep one copy.

Yes! Your gallery stays open for uploads until your storage period expires. Guests who forgot to upload on the day can still share their photos afterwards.

Our system automatically detects duplicate photos and removes them, so you won't end up with multiple copies of the same image.

There's no rush, your album stays open for as long as your plan lasts (and you can extend it if you still need more time).

Life gets busy after a wedding. Between the honeymoon, the thank you cards, and simply catching your breath, it can take a while before everyone gets around to sharing their photos.

That's perfectly fine. Your Gather & Group album doesn't close after a few days or weeks. Guests can upload their photos whenever they're ready, whether that's the morning after or a month later when they finally scroll back through their camera roll.

The same goes for you - take your time gathering everything together. Your album will be there waiting.

Yes, guests have the option to delete images immediately after their upload is complete.

If they realise that they've uploaded something by mistake, a link on the upload page allows them to go back and delete specific photos or videos.

This is a one-time option though, once they close that window, only you as the couple can delete photos and videos.

Both our basic and premium plans allow unlimited uploads from an unlimited number of guests.

Guests can upload a maximum of 100 photos or videos in a single batch. If your guests need to upload more than 100, they can simply click the 'upload more' button after the first batch and then upload another 100. Easy!

Yes! You can choose from several elegant designs, customise colours to match your wedding theme, and add your own message or instructions.

Good news: once it's created, your QR code stays the same, no matter what.

You can print it on table cards, pop it on a sign, or include it in your order of service with complete confidence. Your QR code won't change, even if you update your event details along the way.

Changing your names? Adjusting the date? Upgrading your plan? None of that will affect your QR code. It keeps working exactly as expected, so there's no need to reprint anything or worry about guests scanning an outdated link.

Once it's out there, it just works.

You can also send it digitally beforehand if you'd like guests to start uploading before the big day.

If you don't want to print it yourself, you can either order printed copies directly from us, send the files to a local printer, or use an online design service such as Canva. The choice is yours!

No problem! You can use our Guest Upload Reminders feature instead. Just add your guests' email addresses before the wedding, and we'll automatically send them a link to your upload page the day after, with follow-up reminders at 3 days and 7 days. Each email includes a direct link to your gallery - guests just tap it, choose their photos, and upload. No QR code needed, no app to download. You can track who's clicked, who's uploaded, and who might need a nudge, all from your dashboard.

Our system automatically scores each photo for blur, lighting, and clarity. You can then filter your gallery to show only the best shots, or view everything including the not-so-perfect ones.

No - we never delete your photos automatically. The quality filter simply helps you find the best ones. All uploaded photos are kept safe until you choose to delete them or your storage expires.

Your guests' photos deserve to stay as crisp and clear as the moment they were taken.

There's nothing worse than finally gathering all those precious candid shots, only to find they've been squashed down and lost their detail. It's one of the biggest drawbacks of using messaging apps or social media to collect photos. With Gather & Group, you don't have to worry about that.

Both of our plans keep the original quality of the uploads. The only changes we make are to convert uploads to jpeg format and videos to mp4 format. We only convert formats if necessary to ensure that the files are fully compatible with your devices. When we convert, we do this at full quality.

That way, when you come to print your favourites or put together an album, everything looks exactly as it should and is fully compatible.

Our photo processing system groups photos by the people in them - it doesn't identify who anyone is, it simply spots that "this face appears in these 47 photos."

When you log in, you'll see groups labelled "Person 1", "Person 2", etc. You can then name them yourself - "Grandma", "Best Man", "Uncle Keith" - making it easy to find all photos of specific guests.

• All processing happens on our own servers - we don't send your photos to Google, Amazon, or any third party
• Only you see the photos - guests upload photos but cannot view them; only the couple has access
• Facial data stays private - the processing creates mathematical patterns (not actual images of faces) that are stored securely and deleted when your gallery expires
• You're in control - as the couple, you decide what names to assign and can delete any photos at any time
• GDPR compliant - we act as a Data Processor on your behalf, and all data is automatically deleted after your storage period ends

Basic plans include 3 months of storage from your wedding date. Premium plans extend this to a full year. We'll send you email reminders before your storage expires so you have plenty of time to download everything.

You can download all your photos as a single zip file at any time. Premium users can also download organised folders - sorted by person, date, or location as well as exporting directly to Dropbox, Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive.

We'll send you email reminders before expiry. After expiration, your photos are held for an additional 30 days before being permanently deleted - giving you a safety net if you miss the deadline. You can also pay to extend your storage, we'll email you details closer to the time.

Yes! You can upgrade at any time from your dashboard. You'll pay the difference between the plans and immediately unlock facial recognition and extended storage.

We accept all major credit and debit cards through Stripe, our secure payment provider. This includes Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and more.

Absolutely! The account is designed for couples to share. Use the same email and password to log in from any device.

You can change your name or email address whenever you need to, it only takes a moment.

If you need to update the name or email address linked to your account, you can do that directly from your dashboard.

Head to your dashboard and click "Edit Profile" and follow the instructions.

From time to time we release discount codes for new sign-ups. These can be applied during checkout to reduce the cost of your plan.

If you have a discount code, you'll see a field to enter it on the page where you pick your plan. The discount will be applied immediately and reflected in your total before you pay.

To be the first to hear about special offers and new discount codes, follow us on social media. We occasionally share exclusive codes with our followers that aren't available anywhere else.

Videos are stored alongside your photos and a preview thumbnail is automatically generated. You can watch them directly in your gallery. Note that videos aren't processed for facial recognition - that only applies to photos.

You can stream videos directly in your gallery - no need to download them first. They'll play smoothly on any device.

The gallery itself is private to you as the couple. However, you can download all your photos and share them however you like - via email, cloud storage, or social media.

There's no direct photographer access, but you can easily download your entire collection and share it with them. This keeps your gallery secure while still letting you collaborate, or alternatively you could upload the photos from your photographer to give you a single place to keep your special memories safe.

We accept JPEG, PNG, and HEIC images, as well as MP4, MOV, and AVI videos. Most phone cameras save in these formats automatically.

No. Files of any size can be uploaded - our system handles large files automatically. There's also no limit on how many photos or videos your guests can upload.

Your photos are stored securely on UK-based servers. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to keep your memories safe.

Yes. You have full control over your gallery - delete any photo or video you don't want with a single tap. Deleted items are moved into a deleted section for 30 days (in case you delete something by mistake), but you can permanently delete anything from this section immediately.

No problem! Use the "Forgot password" link on the login page and we'll send you a reset link by email. You'll be back in your gallery in no time.

Make sure the QR code isn't damaged or partially obscured.

This is usually a connection issue. Ask them to:

• Try connecting to WiFi instead of mobile data
• Move to an area with better signal
• Wait a moment and try again - the system will automatically retry failed uploads
• Ask the guest to try uploading when they get home, there's no limit on when photos can be uploaded

Use the filter options in your gallery to search by contributor name. If the guest used a different name than expected, try searching for variations.

If you're on an iPhone and uploading multiple photos or videos, you may notice a short pause after tapping "Add" - this is completely normal.

The wait is typically up to 1-2 seconds per photo and up to 3 seconds per video.

Why does this happen?

To give you the best possible quality, Gather & Group uploads your photos and videos at full, original resolution. iPhones often store media in a special format, and your device needs a moment to unpack each file before it can be sent.

This is an iPhone limitation, not a problem with the app.

What should I do?

Just tap "Add" once and wait - your files will load and upload on their own. There's no need to tap again or restart.

When uploading a large number of photos from an iPhone, the photo picker can be slow to respond after you tap "Add". This is an iOS limitation, not a problem with Gather & Group. There's a simple setting that fixes it.

To speed things up:

1. Tap Select Files on the upload page
2. Choose Photo Library
3. Tap the three dots (...) in the bottom-left corner
4. Tap Options
5. Change Format to Current

That's it. From now on, selecting and uploading photos will be much faster.

This option is available on iPhones running iOS 15 or later.

While we're designed with weddings in mind (that's one of our unique features), you could use Gather & Group for other events, however all of our branding and wording is wedding related. If you're ok with that, then so are we. Fill your boots!

Yes! We offer a gift membership option that lets you purchase a Gather & Group plan on behalf of a couple getting married.

When you buy a gift, you'll receive a unique voucher code that covers the full cost of the plan. You can pass this on to the couple however you like - in a card, by email, or tucked inside a wedding gift (although it makes sense to give the gift in plenty of time before the wedding so the couple can set everything up!). When they sign up and choose their plan, they simply enter the voucher code at checkout and pay nothing.

You don't need an account to buy a gift. Just visit our gift page, choose the plan you'd like to give, and complete the payment. The voucher code will be shown on screen and emailed to you straight away.

A printed photobook is a professionally printed book made from the photos in your gallery. Rather than just having your wedding photos on a screen, you get a real, physical book delivered to your door. Our system does all the work - it selects your best photos, arranges them into elegant layouts, and sends the book to print. You don't need any design skills or software. It's one of the most popular ways our couples choose to keep their wedding memories.

You absolutely can, and we make it easy to download all your photos for exactly that reason. But most couples tell us they never quite get around to it. Life after the wedding is busy, and sorting through hundreds of photos to design a book yourself can take hours.

Our photobooks take less than a minute to create. The system scores every photo for quality, picks the best ones, and arranges them into professional layouts automatically.

You choose your page count, personalise the cover, and order - that's it. No uploading to another service, no dragging photos into templates, no fiddling with margins.

They also make effortless gifts. With our keepsake books, you can create a small photobook featuring just the photos of specific people - one for the groom's parents, one for the bridesmaids - and add your own dedication inside the book. Try doing that manually for five different people and you'll see the appeal.

When you create a photobook, you choose one of three photo sources. "Best Photos" is the default and uses our quality scoring system to select only the sharpest, clearest images from your gallery. "All Photos" includes everything your guests uploaded. "Favourites Only" uses just the photos you've marked as favourites in your gallery.

From your chosen source, the system automatically selects the right number of photos for your page count and arranges them into professional layouts. Higher page counts include more photos - a 30-page book will use roughly 35 to 70 photos, while a 60-page book will include up to 160.

If you'd prefer a different selection, you can delete the photobook and generate a new one. Each generation produces a slightly different arrangement.

Yes of course. Once your photobook has been generated, you can flip through every page in our interactive preview. This shows you the front cover, every interior page, and the back cover exactly as they'll appear in print.

You can also download a free sample PDF to review on your device or share with your partner. The sample is a low resolution preview but is otherwise identical to the printed version. We'd always recommend checking the preview before placing your order.

No! Everything is handled automatically. Our system selects the photos, arranges them into professionally designed layouts, and generates the complete book for you. There's no dragging, dropping, or resizing involved.

All you need to do is choose your photo source, pick a page count, and optionally personalise the cover text and photo. The rest is done for you. From start to finish, creating a photobook takes less than a minute of your time.

No, and that's by design. Gather & Group photobooks are not intended to replace your official wedding album from your photographer. They're a way to capture the candid, unscripted moments your guests saw - the ones that would otherwise sit forgotten on fifty different phones.

We deliberately kept the process simple. You choose your photos source, pick a page count, personalise the cover, and place your order. No layout editors, no dragging and dropping, no spending an evening nudging photos around a grid. The whole point is that you spend your time enjoying the photos, not designing a book.

If the selection or arrangement isn't quite right, you can delete the book and generate a fresh one. Each generation produces a different result, so it's worth trying again if the first isn't to your taste.
