Your guests helped create your gallery and gallery sharing lets them enjoy it too. When you turn sharing on, we create a private link you can send to your guests, and anyone with the link can browse your photos and videos in a beautiful gallery. No account or app needed.
Turning sharing on
Go to Share With Guests from your dashboard and switch on Share your gallery with guests. We'll create your private link straight away - use the Copy button to grab it, or preview to see exactly what your guests will see. Send the link however you like: WhatsApp, email, or your wedding website.
Sharing is off by default. Until you turn it on, your gallery can only ever be seen by you.
Your private link
The link contains a random code that can't be guessed, and we make sure it never appears in search engines. Only people you share it with can find your gallery.
If the link ends up somewhere you didn't intend, use the Get a new link button. Your old link stops working immediately for everyone, and you can share the new one with the right people.
Password protection
Without a password, the link on its own is all that's needed to view your gallery. For an extra layer of privacy, turn on Require a password and choose one password for all your guests - share it alongside the link. You can change or remove the password at any time. Changing it takes effect for everyone straight away.
For everyone's privacy we can't show you the password once it's saved. If it's forgotten, just set a new one.
What guests can see and do
You choose exactly how much your guests see:
- Allow downloads - guests can download the original, full-quality photo and video files, one at a time. Off by default. Note that even with downloads off, guests can still screenshot or save the screen-sized versions they're viewing - that's true of anything on a screen, and no gallery can prevent it.
- Show photo details - guests see who shared each photo and when it was taken. For privacy, GPS locations are never shown to guests, whatever you choose. Off by default.
- Let guests browse by face - guests see a row of faces and can tap one to find every photo of that person. Only people you've named on your people page appear, and anyone you've hidden there stays hidden. Off by default.
- Show names with faces - also shows the names you've given people. A nice middle ground is showing faces without names, so guests can find photos of people without anyone being named.
- Hide pre-wedding photos - keeps test shots and preparations out of the shared gallery. You might want to change this if you've uploaded hen party photos for example before your wedding day that you'd like others to see. On by default.
A thought on faces and names: for an intimate wedding where everyone knows everyone, they're a lovely touch. For a bigger day with plus-ones and colleagues, some guests may prefer not to be browsable by face or name - it's your call, and you can change your mind at any time.
Setting an expiry date
If you'd like the link to switch itself off - say, a few months after the wedding - turn on Set an expiry date and pick a day. The link works until the end of that day. Without an expiry, the link keeps working for as long as your gallery is stored with us.
Turning sharing off
Switch off Share your gallery with guests at any time and the link stops working immediately. Your gallery returns to being completely private, and you can turn sharing back on later - the same link will work again.
