How to use Guest Upload Reminders

What are Guest Upload Reminders?

After your wedding, your guests will have hundreds of photos on their phones. Guest Upload Reminders automatically send friendly emails nudging them to upload their photos to your gallery - so you don't have to chase everyone individually.

How to set it up

  1. Go to Guest Upload Reminders from your dashboard.
  2. Enter your guests' email addresses in the text box, one per line.
  3. Click Add Guests.

That's it. The reminders are sent automatically - you don't need to do anything else.

When are reminders sent?

We send up to three gentle reminders, timed to catch guests when they're most likely to have a moment to upload:

  • Reminder 1 - The day after your wedding at midday
  • Reminder 2 - 3 days after your wedding in the evening
  • Reminder 3 - 7 days after your wedding in the evening

Reminders stop automatically as soon as a guest uploads a photo. If a guest opts out, no further reminders are sent to them.

Tracking progress

The Guest Upload Reminders page shows you at a glance how things are going:

  • Guests added - How many email addresses you've entered
  • Clicked link - How many guests have clicked through to your upload page
  • Uploaded photos - How many guests have actually uploaded

In the guest list table, the R1, R2 and R3 columns show which reminders have been sent to each guest. You can also see their current status: Pending, Clicked, Uploaded, or Opted out.

Tips for getting the most uploads

  • Add guests before the wedding - Enter email addresses ahead of time so reminders are ready to go automatically the day after.
  • Include everyone - Even guests you think might not have taken many photos. You'd be surprised how many candid moments people capture without realising.
  • Combine with QR codes - Put QR codes on your tables or in your invitations so guests can also upload on the day itself.

Removing a guest

To remove someone from the reminder list, click the X next to their name in the guest list. No further reminders will be sent to them.

Note: Guest Upload Reminders are available on paid plans only. Reminders are only sent after your wedding date, so make sure your wedding date is set correctly in your profile.
